About the Research Programme
The Burmese Women’s Union (BWU) led this feminist participatory action research (FPAR) from January 2016 – April 2016 in the industrial zones of Mingalardon, Shwe Pyi Thar, and Hlaing Thar Yar in Yangon. BWU partnered with local labour organizations and women workers from nine garment factories to undertake this research. This research is part of APWLD’s FPAR Program in 9 countries.
